Whether on a trip to Asia, eating out or shopping in the Treasure Valley, or even home watching TV, we all regularly see various Buddhist images, but often don’t notice them. Each of these images tell a slightly different story of religion or culture. In this two hour class, we will look at pictures of Buddha’s, many from Idaho, learn to identify the Buddha and the story behind it, and which culture it likely comes from. Participants are encouraged to bring in images and small statues for us to try to identify together.
