JDRF One Walk
9:00 AM
Julius Kleiner Memorial Park
Description:
Each year, JDRF One Walk (formerly JDRF Walk to Cure Diabetes) brings together more than 900,000 people (nationwide) to change the future of type 1 diabetes (T1D). Many of these people have T1D themselves, and many more are friends, family, or coworkers of someone challenged by this disease. But no matter what their connection is, they walk and raise funds because they believe in a world where T1D no longer exists - a world where type one has become type NONE.

Registration for the JDRF One Walk in the Treasure Valley area is OPEN! Head over to walk.jdrf.org/idaho TODAY to get your team registered!

The Walk will be held Saturday, May 20, 2017 at Kleiner Park in Meridian. We hope you will join us at the Walk and set your fundraising goals higher than ever this year!

We invite you and your family, friends, neighbors, co-workers, and whoever else to come and join us in our celebration! Our One Walk is FUNDRAISING-BASED, and we are excited to bring the families and friends of those affected by T1D together to fundraise and celebrate with us.

You can ask anyone you know for a donation -- from the businesses you work at, to the grocery stores you shop at, and the neighbors your kids hang out with! Holding creative events is one of the easiest ways to raise funds for your team!

The Walk is also a great avenue for your family to come out and support your T1D, no matter what age! It's fun for all ages, including face painting, free lunch, music, and more!

If you need any assistance, please don't hesitate to contact us at the Chapter at 888-533-WALK OR email Stacey Bowen at sbowen@jdrf.org

Let's get this party started!
