The Salvation Army in Nampa is hosting a Veteran's Appreciation Dinner for all veterans and active duty military men and women. This evening will celebrate the men and women who have sacrificed so much for our country.
We will have special speaker Sergeant Anthony Taylor with the Army Idaho National Guard. Sargent Taylor has served two tours in Iraq with the Marine Corps. He is now serving as a Calvary Scout and truck commander of Bravo troop 2/116 CAV-REG Nampa. Anthony will be sharing his meaningful experiences from his career in the armed forces. Brent Taylor, Executive Director of Wyakin Warriors will be sharing about the work that Wyakin Warriors is doing and will be bringing a recipient of Wyakin Warrior services to share their experience.
The Nampa Police Honor Guard will be posting colors, Sisters Promise will be sharing in music during the dinner and there will be door prizes for the veterans as well.
