Join us for an all-day field trip led by CWI Professor Ander Sundell. We'll explore features of the Kane Springs area of Reynolds Creek in Owyhee County including: the Cretaceous Silver City Batholith, Miocene Lake Idaho sediments, pillow basalts that erupted within Lake Idaho, and more! Meet at Meridian Winco parking lot - Meridian Road off I-84 (Exit 44) at 7:30am for an 8am departure. (Back to town by 5pm) Dress for the weather, and bring water, lunch, and snacks. $10 for museum members -- $15 for non-members -- $5 kids. No pre-reservations required.
