Caring for Aging Parents: Legal Issues
7:00 PM
Boise Public Library
Description:
Boise Public Library will be hosting a series of classes to help with the challenges many of us face as our parents age. The first class, scheduled for Monday, May 16, will address important legal issues that can make life easier. Join speaker David Wilson, elder law attorney with the Ahrens DeAngeli Law Group, in the Main Library's third floor Marion Bingham Room from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. to learn more.

Wilson will discuss options for making sure your parents' choices are respected when they can no longer care for themselves. He'll talk about the differences between wills, powers of attorney, trusts and more, which ones you may need, and how to get them.

On June 13, a second program will look at local resources to support the aging parent and the caregiver program, presented by licensed social worker Lynne Smith. For more information, call 972-8255 or visit www.boisepubliclibrary.org/calendar. The Main Library is located at 715 South Capitol Boulevard in downtown Boise.
