Boise Public Library and the Idaho Nonprofit Center invite nonprofit leaders, staff members and volunteers to Nonprofit Resource Thursdays, an opportunity to learn about free and low-cost resources available to nonprofits. The free, drop-in sessions are held on the third Thursday each month from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. on the third floor of the Main Library in downtown Boise.

Each month, a variety of experts is available to help nonprofit representatives educate themselves on various topics, such as nonprofit bylaws, the start-up process, fundraising resources, finding and managing volunteers and other support. We'll also show you how to use a searchable database of over 150,000 grant opportunities.

Each session also includes an optional roundtable discussion on a specific topic from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. In these peer-learning experiences, you'll share insights, swap stories, and learn best practices from other people in your line of work and from discussion leaders with expertise on the topic. June 16 - The 10 Basic Roles and Responsibilities of Nonprofit Boards. Jessica Sotelo, Certified Governance Trainer with BoardSource, will host this session.
