Description:
Library Offers Loads of Fun for School-Age Kids This Summer
Summer Fest STEAM Camp
This summer, kids ages 6-12 can learn about life in the ocean, sing with a live band and conduct science experiments at the library! All four Boise Public Library locations will offer these enticing programs and more during the library's Summer Fest STEAM Camp in June and July. STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math) Camp will be held four times each week at 4:00 p.m. - once at each of the four libraries.

June programs will include a visit from the Aquarium of Boise, a Rockeoke party (it's like karaoke but with a live band) and a visit from Dr. Picklestein, with science, explosions, experiments and silliness. Other programs in June and July will feature rockets, balloon science, building with bricks, acting and improvisation and collage.

The programs are scheduled weekly at each location as follows:
Tuesdays, 4:00 p.m., Library! at Cole & Ustick, 7557 W. Ustick Rd.
Wednesdays, 4:00 p.m., Library! at Collister, 4724 W. State St.
Thursdays, 4:00 p.m., Main Library, 715 S. Capitol Blvd.
Fridays, 4:00 p.m., Library! at Hillcrest, 5246 W. Overland Rd.
