Missoula Children's Theatre Workshop - The Jungle Book

The Nampa Civic Center is happy to announce the return of Missoula Children's Theatre, July 20-24, 2015. Auditions will be held, July 20th at Noon with an open casting call! The final performance is held on stage at the Nampa Civic Center on July 24th at 6:30pm.

Those auditioning should arrive at 11:30am on July 20 and plan to stay for the full two hours. Some of the cast members will be asked to stay for a rehearsal immediately following the audition. Approximately 50-60 roles are available for local students. All students, grades 1-12 are encouraged to audition. No advance preparation is necessary. Most students rehearse approximately 4 hours each day, Monday through Friday.

Missoula children's Theatre is the nation's top family theater company presenting programs in hundreds of cities across American every year. This musical is directed by a professional artist from MCT and stars 60 local students. Participants sing, dance and act as part of the production. The musical features world class costumes, a large set and live accompaniment. This is the perfect way for kids to be part of a full scale musical thanks to the condensed one week rehearsal period. Participation fee is $50.00 if cast ($5.00 registration fee is applied to the cost). Rehearsals will be held July 20-July 24, Noon-4:30pm at the Nampa Civic Center. Some children will only rehearse for about 2 hours a day - depending on the part they are cast in. Please call 468-5555 with questions.
