The Spirit of the Islands Luau provides the opportunity to learn more about Polynesian cultures. The evening includes a luau featuring popular cultural foods, Polynesian dancing and island drinks the whole family can enjoy.

A no-host bar will be available, which will include a Pineapple Mai Tai served in a hollowed out pineapple, garnished with tropical fruit to transport your taste buds to paradise. Next, experience a traditional Hawaiian Luau including authentic kalua pork, coconut rice and roasted pineapple. Later, watch authentic Polynesian dancers from "Hawaiian at Heart Idaho" perform.

Hawaiian at Heart Idaho has performed in the Treasure Valley since 1999 celebrating various dances of the South Pacific. Watch as they perform the hula as well as Tahitian and Samoan specific dances, wearing a variety of featured island costumes and using exotic implements such as poi balls, feather gourds, bamboo sticks and gourd drums.

Nampa Civic Center's outdoor garden area is the perfect spot to enjoy an evening of Hawaiian music, culture, food and fun. The first 150 people to purchase tickets will be garnished with an aloha lei that embellishes freshly hand-strung purple dendrobium orchids shipped from the Big Island.
