Description:
Ma'ikwe Schaub Ludwig, director of the Dancing Rabbit Ecovillage, will present "Sustainable is Possible: Creating Low Carbon, High Quality Lives... Together" explaining how we can live using only 10% of the resources of the average American- and enjoy it! A special screening of the film INHABIT will follow the presentation. INHABIT explores the environmental issues facing us today and examines an ecological design process called 'Permaculture' which uses the principles found in ecosystems to help shift our impact from destructive to regenerative. This event is sponsored by the Boise EcoVillage, BSU Sustainability Club, and the Boise State Writing Project. The presentation and movie Friday evening are FREE and open to the public! Workshops are being offered on Friday and Saturday at a minimal fee to learn more about sustainable living. Please visit the website for more specific information. Looking forward to seeing you there!
