River by Design: An Author Panel
7:00 PM
Rediscovered Books
Description:
Rediscovered Books will host an author panel featuring new book by the BSU Center for Idaho History and Politics, "River by Design."

River by Design marks 100 years since the Boise River emerged as an engineering sensation with the dedication of Arrowrock Dam. Sequenced like a tour with stops in Boise, Garden City, Eagle, Caldwell, and Parma, this collection of essays searches for the politics and cultural values that drive engineering design.

Rediscovered Books will host a panel of authors from "River by Design" to talk about their essays and discuss the history of the Boise River.

The BSU Center for Idaho History and Politics are also publishers of local favorites like "Becoming Basque," Local, Simple, Fresh: Sustainable Food in the Boise Valley," and "Surviving Minidoka."

This event is free and open to the public.
