HalloWednesdays: mid-week horror movie: Scream
6:00 PM
Boise Public Library
Description:
Boise Public Library Offers Thrills and Chills with "HalloWednesdays'
Enjoy a mid-week horror movie and free popcorn each Wednesday in October

Come to the Main Library each Wednesday in October for free popcorn, a dimly lit room, and your favorite horror movies. Each "HalloWednesday" will showcase a different film, hand-picked and sure to please even the most discriminating horror fan. The full schedule follows below:

Oct. 4: Psycho (1960) - Hitchcock's classic follows a young woman who winds up staying in a remote hotel run by a very disturbed man.
Oct. 11: Scream (1996) - A killer uses classic horror movie tropes to terrorize and murder teenagers. This tongue-in-cheek homage to the genre provides a number of unexpected twists.
Oct. 18: Alien (1979) - This Ridley Scott classic features a spaceship's crew who's stalked and attacked by a mysterious, deadly creature. Moody, intense, claustrophobic terror.
Oct. 25: The Cabin in the Woods (2012) - Friends in an isolated cabin unleash a sinister series of events. Producer Joss Whedon will keep you guessing right up to the end.

Doors open at 6 p.m., and movies begin at 6:30. Please note that this movie series is for adults 18 and over. For more information, call 208-972-8255, or visit boisepubliclibrary.org/calendar.
