Distinguished Professor Shawn Willsey (CSI), will lead a field trip to Balanced Rock in Buhl, the Bluegill landslide on Salmon Falls Creek and a lava dam on the Snake River. You'll learn aboutgeologic and geomorphologic factors that lead to landslide instability. Minimal walking but wear sturdy shoes. Dress for the weather, bring lunch and plenty of water.
