Identity theft is now the fastest-growing crime in America. Per the Federal Trade Commission and Consumer Federation of America, approximately 9-10 million consumers become victims of identity theft every year.
On November 2, 6:30 to 8:00 p.m., Boise Police Department's Ed Fritz will speak about how to keep your identity safe. Ed will cover the following topics: how do you prevent someone from stealing your identity and what do you if your identity has already been stolen. The workshop will be held in the Main Library's Marion Bingham Room.
