Boise Public Library
Description:
Stories have the power to connect us all! Moving across the country, overcoming a parenting struggle, meeting the love of your life, lip-syncing oldies radio anthems in your pajamas with your best friend...whatever it might be, every story we share helps us embrace our common humanity. The Library! at Collister invites teens and adults to record a story from their life for an hour at the library every Tuesday and Thursday from 3:00-4:00 p.m. Appointments are available beginning Tuesday, October 25. Registration is required. Browse recordings from across the nation here.

Everyone may bring a friend or family member to interview them, or be interviewed by a library staff member. Stories are recorded on library iPADs using the Storycorps app, with assistance from library staff, and are hosted on the storycorps.me website. All published recordings will be archived in the American Folklife Center at the Library of Congress.

For more information, call 972-8320 or visit www.boisepubliclibrary.org/calendar. The Library! at Collister is a branch of Boise Public Library, and is located in the Collister Shopping Center at State Street and Collister.
