Description:
"The Book of Salt"

Boise Public Library and the BSU Department of English have announced the line-up for the fall 2015 Literature for Lunch series, which resumes in September. The books chosen for the monthly book discussion share a common theme, "Hungers, Feasts, and Cultures, Food Across Global Literature."

On November 20, Monique Truong's The Book of Salt takes center stage. And, on December 18, the fall series wraps up with Pig Tails n' Breadfruit, by Austin Clarke. The monthly discussions are held from 12:10 to 1:00 p.m. in the Main Library Hayes Auditorium on selected Fridays, and are open to the public.

Literature for Lunch books are available at Rediscovered Books on 8th Street between Main and Idaho at a 10% discount; and at the BSU Bookstore in the Student Union Building at a 25% discount.

For more information about the series, contact BSU English Professor Cheryl Hindrichs at [email protected], Boise Public Library at 972-8255 or visit www.boisepubliclibrary.org/calendar. The Main Library is located at 715 South Capitol Boulevard in downtown Boise.
