Description:
Do squirrels have sleeping bags? Do bears use space heaters? Do geese eat in restaurants? How do they survive the challenges of winter? Deer Flat National Wildlife Refuge invites students in 2nd, 3rd and 4th grade to participate in two afternoons of hands-on exploration of how local animals and plants survive the challenges of winter.
The Hibernate, Migrate or Insulate: A Wildlife Winter Survival Guide camp will be held December 29th and 30th from 1:00pm - 4:00pm. Today is the last day to register! For more information or to register call 208-467-9278 or email [email protected].
The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service is committed to providing access to this event for all participants.
