The Buried life
7:00 PM Morrison Center
Description:
If you had one day to live, what would you do? Who would you like to meet? Where would you like to go? Who would you like to help?
Start your bucket list. Boise State University's Student Involvement & Leadership Center is bringing The Buried Life to the Morrison Center, 7 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 20, 2013.
The Buried Life was an inspirational reality show that aired on MTV in 2010. Filled with comedy and adventure, the show featured some friends on a mission to help perfect strangers accomplish their dreams and achieve their goals while crossing off items on their own collective bucket list, such as protesting something they believe in, donating to charity, and playing basketball with President Obama.
Although the show ran for only two seasons, the friends continue to travel, inspiring others, crossing off to-dos, and speaking at universities and mega corporations like Levi's, Viacom, and GM. Two of them will be at Boise State to inspire you.
Everywhere they go they ask: What do you want to do before you die?
The idea is that day-to-day stuff can sometimes bury you and make you forget what you're passionate about in your life.
General admission tickets go on sale December 19, 2012 at the Morrison Center Box Office, all Select-a-Seat outlets, and IdahoTickets.com or call (208) 426-1110. Student tickets are on sale now. The cost is $5 for students with an ID and $20 for general admission. For more information, visit getinvolved.boisestate.edu or call (208) 426-1223.
