Fasten your seatbelts and take to the road with two Volkswagen® bugs as they try to do their job, stay safe, keep out of mud, and avoid bug road kill. On the Road, a Boise Public Library puppet show for children ages 3-10, will be showing three times at two locations in early June.
Catch the first performance at the Stage Coach Theatre in the Hillcrest
Shopping Center on Thursday, June 5, at 3:30 p.m. This showing is
offered in partnership with the Library! at Hillcrest, which is next door to the theater.
The second and third shows will be at the Main Library in downtown
Boise at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, June 6, and at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday,
June 7. The shows last less than 30 minutes, so come a little early for
good seating and to watch the puppet cars start their little engines.
The “bug” puppet show plays off this year’s Summer Reading theme
for kids, “Catch the Reading Bug”. Summer Reading registration
starts June 1, and continues through July 31.
