Description:
Enjoy bi-monthly book discussions centering around the enjoyable and engaging pastime of eating! Boise Public Library is partnering with Life’s Kitchen Café to offer “We Are What We Eat,” a series of five themed book discussion programs to be held in September and October.
Each program features a guest speaker and a specific book for
discussion. Participants will receive copies of the books on a loan
basis when they register, and may register for individual programs or
for the entire series.
Discussions are scheduled at varying locations on five Thursdays at 7
p.m., and will run for one hour. Refreshments will be provided.
September 4 - Library! at Hillcrest: We Are What We Ate, an

October 2 - Library! at Collister: The Tummy Trilogy, by Calvin

Library! at Hillcrest is located in the Hillcrest Shopping Center at
Orchard Street and Overland Road. The Library! at Collister is located
at Collister and State Streets in the Collister Shopping Center in
Northwest Boise.
The series is presented as part of Let’s Talk About It, a program of
the Idaho Commission for Libraries, and is sponsored by the Idaho
Humanities Council, Idaho Commission for Libraries, US Bank, Life’s
