Kevin Kiely

Description:
Kiely, born in Northern Ireland, attended the University of Iowa. He
has traveled, lived, and worked in Europe and the United States. He has
published plays, biographies and poetry, including “Breakfast with
Sylvia,” “Plainchant for a Sundering,” “Children of No Importance,”
“Multiple Indiscretions,” “Mere Mortals,” “Pieta” and “Quintesse.” In
addition, Kiely has book reviewed for the Irish Examiner, “Irish
Studies Review,” “Honest Ulsterman,” “Fortnight,” “Books Ireland,”
“Poetry Ireland Review” and the “Irish Book Review.” His recent poems
have been published in “Anvil,” “Criterion,” “The Belle,” “Edinburgh
Review,” “The Poetry Ireland Review,” “The Democrat Arts Page,” and
many more***Kiely is currently Boise State’s Fulbright scholar. He is
completing a Ph.D. in poetry.
