An Evening with New Americans from Congo

Description:
Continuing its series of World Connect programs, the Library! at Hillcrest presents an evening with New Americans from Congo. The program will feature artists, refugee panelists, a slide show, and authentic Congolese foods, music, clothing and household items. The program begins at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 15.
This free program for all ages is hosted by the Library! at Hillcrest and the Hillcrest Advisory Group. The group plans and presents three Worlds Connect programs each year, featuring New Americans from many countries. Supporters for the Congo presentation include immigrants and refugees from Congo and the Democratic Republic of Congo, African Community Development, Global Lounge, and the Idaho Community Foundation.
