Description:
Who doesn't love to snuggle up with a good story on a cold winter's night? Join local libraries and schools in celebrating Idaho Family Reading Week, November 13-19, as we encourage families to "snuggle up and read" together. You'll be creating lasting memories and helping your children discover the joy of reading.
Boise Public Library invites local families to celebrate by attending one of these special events at their neighborhood library.
Dinner & a Book: Tuesday, November 13, 6:30-7:30 p.m., Library! at Cole & Ustick in the Sagebrush Room. Limited seating - registration is required. Call 570-6900 or sign-up at www.boisepubliclibrary.org.
Dinner & a Book: Wednesday, November 14, 6:00-7:00 p.m., Main Library Hayes Auditorium. Limited seating - registration is required. Call 384-4200 or sign-up at www.boisepubliclibrary.org.
Snuggle Up & Read: Wednesday, November 14, 4:00-7:30 p.m., Library! at Collister in the Sycamore Room. At 4:00 p.m., school-age children will learn about hibernation, torpor and snow caves. All ages are invited for snuggly crafts at 5:00 p.m., and a PJ Storytime at 7:00 p.m.
Snuggle Up & Read: Wednesday, November 14, 6:00-8:00 p.m., Library! at Hillcrest in the Lemhi Room. Families are invited to wear their comfiest PJs, bring their stuffed animals, and join us for an evening of fun, including a book walk, a special guest story reader, and a library sleepover for the animals.
The Library! at Cole & Ustick is located at 7557 W. Ustick Rd. in the Library Plaza; the Main Library is located at 715 S. Capitol Blvd. in downtown Boise; the Library! at Collister is located at 4724 W. State St. in the Collister Shopping Center; and the Library! at Hillcrest is at 5246 W. Overland Rd. in the Hillcrest Shopping Center.
