Live comedy debuts at LINEN BUILDING with IMPROVOLUTION Jan. 14

All-ages series features top improv entertainers performing stand-up, sketches and Whose Line Is It Anyway?-style games

Live comedy will make its debut at the Linen Building in 2011 with Improvolution, a new monthly series kicking off at 7 p.m. Friday, Jan. 14. The Linen Building is located at 1402 W. Grove St. in Downtown Boise's Linen District. $5 at the door. All ages, full bar (with I.D.), Pie Hole pizza. Plenty of free, off-street parking is available at the Linen Building.

Improvolution (boiselaughs.com) is a professional improv comedy troupe with more than three decades of theatrical and comedic experience. Improvolution performances are fast-paced and full of variety, incorporating everything from sketches to stand-up comedy to Whose Line Is It Anyway?-style games. Improvolution brings audiences not just a show, but an experience.

Improvolution's home shows are held at Stage Coach Theatre, and the troupe also has performed at public and private functions for St. Luke's, City of Boise, College of Southern Idaho and other organizations. The troupe's motto is "Live funny, die laughing."
