Description: SEVENTH ANNUAL BOISE STATE ART METALS AUCTION OPENS FIRST THURSDAY MARCH 4 IN DOWNTOWN BOISE
The Boise State University art metals program and R. Grey Jewelry
Gallery have announced the 7th annual Art Metals Fundraising Auction
from March 4-20, with an opening reception from 5-9 p.m. on First
Thursday, March 4. Both the silent auction and the reception will take
place at R. Grey Jewelry Gallery, 415 S. 8th St. in downtown Boise.
The 26 student pieces up for auction were created collaboratively.
The works in progress were passed from student to student every 45
minutes, with the last in line left to problem solve them into finished
pieces. The theme of the work from this spring semester was
“multiples,” utilizing orange or lavender stones.
All proceeds from the sale of these one-of-a-kind pieces will go
toward the purchase of equipment and hand tools for the Boise State art
