BOSCO Open Studios Reception

Description:
The Boise Open Studios Collective Organization (BOSCO) will hold its Open Studios Reception from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday, Sept. 11, at the Linen Building, 1402 W. Grove St. in Downtown Boise’s Linen District. Free admission, no host bar (I.D. required), music, all ages.
The Gallery at the Linen Building, Downtown Boise’s newest art gallery, will be open during the event. The second-floor, loft-style gallery is currently exhibiting Corrin M. Olson’s “Urbanscapes.”
The Open Studios Reception is a preview of BOSCO’s Open Studios Weekend Oct. 2-4, an annual tour of BOSCO artists’ studios that allows the public to see the wide variety of artists living and working in the community.
The Open Studios Reception on Sept. 11 is a chance for the public to meet the artists, view their work and mark a map of studios to visit during the Open Studios Tour. Prior to the tour, there will be a limited preview on First Thursday, Oct.1, at the Boise Art Museum.
Donations will be accepted at the door during the Open Studios Reception to raise funds for supporting the organization and the Open Studios Weekend.
The Boise Open Studios Collective Organization (boiseopenstudios.org) is a non-profit volunteer organization dedicated to the visual arts. It was established to promote and foster greater understanding of the creative process between artists and the general public.
