Hear Stories from around the World at Tellabration
2:00 PM Library! at Collister
Description:
Enjoy an afternoon of storytelling, featuring stories from around the
world, on Saturday, November 21, at 2:00 p.m. at the Library! at
Collister. The Guild of Idaho Storytellers and Treasure Valley
Storytellers will present Tellebration, an international day of
storytelling celebrated each year on the Saturday before Thanksgiving.
The free event is suitable for ages 6 years and above.
Treasure Valley Storytellers, of southwest Idaho, is a local community
organization dedicated to advancing the art of storytelling as a
performing art and teaching aid. The Guild of Idaho Storytellers is a
nonprofit organization committed to the art of oral storytelling.
Storytelling pre-dates written history and has the ability to transport
the listener throughout the world.
