Description:
Exhibit on display with art for sale during the month of July, 2008.
Reception on Wednesday, July 9th from 5:30-7:30 p.m.
Why: Idaho Artist Bill McCusker paints representational landscapes of
the northwest, ranging from seascapes to mountains and streams. He is
known especially for his snowscapes and water scenes.
During the last twenty-five years, watercolor artist Dwight Williams’
popular western American themes have been supplemented by a large and
colorful collection of British landscapes and architectural subjects; a
result of extensive travel in England, Scotland, and Wales.
Artist Reception, Wednesday, July 9 from 5:30 – 7:30: Refreshments
will be served during the Artist Reception, while Dwight Williams and
Bill McCusker share about themselves and their art.
The Books and Brushes Program features different community artists each
month in a cross-section of creative mediums. There is no charge to
attend the exhibit. Art is offered for sale and twenty percent of the
proceeds from sales are donated to benefit the Library. For more
