Description:
COUNCIL MEETINGS
The Council shall hold regular meetings
every Tuesday of each month. Meetings will be held at City Hall at the
hour of six o'clock (6:00) P.M., except the fourth Tuesday, which
meeting will be at twelve o'clock (12:00) P.M., unless notice indicates
otherwise in the manner provided by statute. A special meeting of the
Council may be called at any time by the Mayor or a majority of the
members of the Council in the manner provided by Statute.
COMMUNICATIONS DURING THE MEETING
The
presiding officer shall announce at each meeting of the Council the
business in order agreeable to the rules, and no business shall be
taken up or considered until the class to which it belongs shall be
declared in order; provided, that communications from the Mayor may be
read at any time.
ORDER OF BUSINESS
The business of the Council shall be presented in the following order:
* Roll call.
* Reading of minutes.
* Special business.
* Miscellaneous business.
* Reports of special committees.
* Reports of City officers.
* Ordinances and resolutions.
* Unfinished business.
* New business.
* Adjournment.
