10 Saturdays of Free hands-on Arts Workshops, facilitated by Professional Artists, for Kids ages 3 to 5 & 6 to 12

City Arts Commission is pleased to announce the 19TH Annual Arts for
Kids! This year Arts for Kids will take place on TEN Saturdays in a row
and will be held on the Grove in downtown Boise during the Capital City
Public Market!
On Saturdays beginning June 14th through August
16th from 10:00 until 1:00, Arts for Kids at the Market will offer FREE
hands-on arts workshops for youth 3 to 12 years old. Six, 45-minute
workshops facilitated by professional artists and art educators will
begin on the hour each hour from 10:00 until noon. Three workshops each
hour are reserved for families with children aged 3 to 5 where parents
can create art with their children.
Workshop offerings include:
Tie-Dye T-shirts, Recycled Landscapes, Frolicking Fish, Historic Fun!,
Jazzy Journals, Get Close, Recycled Designer Wallets, Yell Well!, A
Winkle in Time and much MORE! There will also be a cool walk-up
activity each week.
There is no pre-registration! All workshops
will be filled on a first-come first-served basis beginning at 9:45
a.m. each Saturday at the Arts for Kids Registration table located on
the Grove Plaza. Children may sign-up for workshops between 9:45 and
11:45 or until all slots are filled. Workshop size is limited to 12
