2:30pm - A Season For Brooding
From local micro-cinema grandfathers Andrew Ellis and Will Schmeckpeper. A Season for Brooding is an anthology horror-comedy, incorporating several filmmakers - actors, directors, musicians, crew, etc. - from the Treasure Valley area, as well as extensive use of archive footage and Creative Commons licensed music.
4:45pm - The Legend of God's Gun
Director Mike Bruce will be at this year's festival! The film, described as a Grindhouse, Rock n' Roll Spaghetti Western, is a masterpiece of digital filmmaking and without a doubt the most original, inventive and outrageous take on the western genre, ever.
7:00pm - Buster
Director Lovisa Inserra will be in attendance! Buster is the story of a guy that anyone in his right mind would run away from. Or should run away from. He's a grifter, sucking his brother dry; a cancer, sabotaging his brother's relationship with his girlfriend. He's the patron saint of passive aggression, the don of all losers, or maybe just a regular fellow who lost his mind trying to avoid growing up. --Buster wanders through his lowly existence trying in vain to keep his brother Scott next to him, knowing inevitably that he'll lose him to the much prettier and determined Jesse. Realizing he can only beat her at screwing up, Buster does so in a way that is very hard for Scott to ignore.
