Following the logic of a dream - in which characters merge, locations
change in an instant, and a locked door recurs obsessively - August
Strindberg’s “A Dream Play” is a mix of Freud and “Alice in
Wonderland.” This production will feature Caryl Churchill’s
adaptation of Strindberg’s 1902 play.

Strindberg wrote more than 60 plays before his death in 1912, including
“Miss Julie,” “The Father” and “The Dance of Death.”
Churchill is one of the most fascinating and respected dramatists in the
English-speaking world; her plays include “Cloud Nine,” “Top
Girls,” “Light Shining in Buckinghampshire,” “Serious Money,”
“Blue Heart,” “Far Away” and “A Number.”
