TUBAPALOOZA Music & Sled Festival
2:30 PM The Activity Barn Tubing Hill
Description:
The Word "TUBAPALOOZA" means: “To Party Hard with Great Live Music, Homemade Cardboard Sleds, DownHill Kayaks Races and Bon-Fires in the spring, at a Tubing Hill."
And This Year's Festival Means Just That! This year will feature the Traditional "Cardboard Sled Derby", The Exciting "Face-2-Face, Down Hill Kayak Races", Great Live Music Performed by Regional Artist, A Hair-Raising Display of Fire Dancers, Plus Food & Drink for the Whole Family!
Festival History
TubaPalooza was started 5 years ago by Cody Fisher, Frame Of Mind & The Activity Barn to help support local community projects such as the Special Olympics of Idaho and The New McCall Skate Park.
After the second year, festival coordinator and Activity Barn manager, Cody Fisher moved on to other opportunities and projects. So the last two years of the festival were very small and did not feature live music or other activities, other then the Cardboard Sled Derby.
But this year, Cody and his New Company "A GREAT DEAL" Productions & Promotions are looking to bring this festival back to it's original glory but putting forth a huge effort to re-establish this festival for years to come. "This was THE first festival I ever had a chance to organize. I hated to see it just fade away." Said, Fisher. "This is my way of giving back to the community that raised me and to others that love to have fun from around the region."
