Did you ever dream of being a pilot? Have you wondered what it’s like to fly an airplane? Here’s your chance to find out from an experienced pilot.
Captain Karl Mariotti will share his wealth of experience during a
Boise Public Library program on Friday, November 20, at 4 p.m. The
family-oriented program will be held in the storywell of the Main
Library at 715 S. Capitol in downtown Boise.
Captain Mariotti has flown the Q-400, a 76 seat turboprop, for Horizon
Air. As a former U.S. Air Force pilot, he flew the C-130 Hercules in
the Middle East, Africa, and Europe. He has also taught fifth and sixth
grade in a Vermont school.
