Families with children 0-8 years old are invited to a reading of THE UNDERPANTS ZOO. Local author and illustrator Brian Sendelbach will read his picture book at Boise Public Library on Saturday, December 1, at 2:00 p.m. in the Main Library's Hayes Auditorium.
Sendlebach will also talk with the children about how a writer gets ideas and show them early sketches and final paintings. Kids may be asked to help him come up with more animals and the kind of underpants they would wear.
Sendelbach is a writer, illustrator, painter and cartoonist. His most recent projects are THE UNDERPANTS ZOO and MY TOOTH IS LOOSE, DR. MOOSE!, both by Scholastic Books. He lives in Boise with his wife Elizabeth and their two children.
