2008 Arbor Day Celebration and Tree Planting

Description:
State Controller Donna Jones will lead an Arbor Day ceremony and tree planting at Capitol Park. Students from Taft Elementary School will make a special presentation and Idaho’s 2008 Arbor Day poster contest winner will receive an award for their winning artwork. The ceremony will conclude with the planting of a Kwanzan cherry tree at Capitol Park located just south of the Statehouse and a tree tour hosted by the Society of American Foresters.
