Easy Star Gazing in your Neighborhood

Explore the summer skies and experience the fun of star gazing at Boise Public Library’s two new neighborhood libraries!  NASA Ambassador Paul Verhage and representatives of Idaho Skies will present a one-hour program on Thursday, June 5, at the new Library! at Collister; and on Wednesday, June 11, at the new Library! at Hillcrest. Both programs start at 7 p.m. and are suitable for school-age children through adults.

The presentations will include images and discussion of constellations,
satellites and planets that can be viewed with the naked eye in the
upcoming summer season.  You’ll also get to check out some
astronomer’s tools of the trade.    For more information, call the

The Library! at Collister is located at Collister and State Streets in
the Collister Shopping Center in Northwest Boise.  The Library! at
Hillcrest is located in the Hillcrest Shopping Center at Orchard Street
and Overland Road.
