"Bravo! Common Men, Uncommon Valor"
1:00 PM
Warhawk Air Museum
Description:
The Warhawk Air Museum proudly presents the powerful documentary film BRAVO! COMMON MEN, UNCOMMON VALOR, a story of young Marines, untested, mostly new to Vietnam, who were trapped during the spring of 1968 in one of the worst sieges in the history of American warfare. Learn their personal stories: why they enlisted, what happened during the siege of Khe Sanh, what it was like to come home, and what it means to them today, 50 years later.

The film will be followed by a 1/2-hour panel discussion and Q&A session. Meet Ron Rees from BRAVO!, Khe Sanh veteran Phil Nuchereno, Idaho filmmakers Ken & Betty Rodgers, and other Khe Sanh veterans to be announced. Rees and Rodgers are survivors of the siege where they served with Bravo Company, 1st Battalion, 26th Marines.

This important documentary has been lauded by Vietnam veterans across the nation. "The first film that really tells our story." It also speaks for veterans of every conflict.

"They had faced the worst the world could offer, but even though the trauma lives in them still, they emerged alive and significant." - Jeff Bacon, MilitaryTimes

The screening is FREE with paid admission to the museum.
