Boise Public Library is pleased to announce a free College Prep 101 workshop for parents and teens at the Main Library. The workshop is scheduled three times, on Saturdays September 10, October 15 and November 5, from 2:00 to 4:30 p.m. in the Main Library Marion Bingham Room: To reserve a spot, email [email protected].

Presenter Lori Warren has been guiding students and parents through the college maze for over 18 years. As president and education specialist for My College Answers, LLC, she works to help families understand what they need to do successfully address education planning, college preparation, college admissions, and financial aid.

You'll learn how to make informed decisions about your student's education and ensure your student is able to attend the best college or university for the least out-of-pocket costs possible. Library staff will also be there to demonstrate the Learning Express Library website.

Warren is a member of the Higher Education Consultants Association (HECA), Idaho Career Development Association (ICDA) and the American School Counselor Association (ASCA).
